Starting out in Philly

As this is my first posting I'm sure it'll be sufficiently awkward. Well we're only a little over a week away from getting moved into our new place. I'm settling in at Tierney in Philly and already I'm knee deep in a branding project for Bayer. I'm really looking forward to not having a car for a while too. I decided to leave my ride in VAS and got a bike to ride to work. I miss the feeling that I had in Savannah where I could ride anywhere without much trouble. I decided on a fixed gear Specialized, no derailers to maintain, no gears to skip and trip me up. Nice and simple. I am keeping the brakes on for now. None of that "use your legs as brakes" crap. Not with Philly drivers.
