bollocks

here's a little collage i did last week. we went to lancaster over the weekend and had a blast playing speed bocce and liberated some bamboo from it's middle class opressors. the week's started really slow, but we're gonna have a killer party on the 4th.

wow. things have been going crazy fast the last couple weeks so i haven't had time to update this in a while. we've been pitching Yuengling beer and the PA Lottery so we've been going warp drive at work. did almost 80 hrs last week and i still took a day off. i think we got some really great stuff out of it though. we should hear about Yuengling early in July, but I found out yesterday that we may not hear about the Lottery till December. this is such a weird biz. tanner and I chilled over the weekend. went to a great jazz bar here called Ortleib's in the Libs and then just hung outside all day saturday. we went to the Manyunk art fair on Sunday. i thought it would be really cheesy, cause i'm used to crappy art having been in Florida for 5 years, but it was actually pretty good. some great ceramic work. been drawing up a storm, but not really too happy with anything. kinda feeling schizo about the stuff. i got a couple free big canvases so i might tackle those and see what comes of it. i wouldn't hold your breath though.
anyway, i thought i'd flash back for a bit to when we had a racoon family living in our potted plant. i know it sounds crazy, but just check out the pics.

I know this is a lil late, but we bbq'd like crazy on memorial day. tanner's dad built a pit and everything so richard held it down and pulled off some amazing work. spent the whole day enjoying cold brews and dodging rain and poison ivy.

time on my hands

trying to wash the time off my hands with lil drawings. I've been spending a lot of time sitting outside too. we got the backyard all prettied up with plants and I got a new chair a week or so ago at a flea market. our jalapenos are almost ready to pick and our tomatoes have started to bloom, which means no more crap store bought for 6 bones a pound cardboard tasting tomatoes. our neigbor walter also gave us some mint and thyme and some other herb we can't figure out, but it's kinda like oregano. we're going to DC for the weekend to BBQ in memorial of memorial day. should be a blast and they'll have to roll me out of the house at the end. we went to Fogo de Chao, an all you can eat brazilian steakhouse for Ross's graduation and I was totally dissapointed that I wasn't fall down full so I gotta make like a good american and stuff this face.
