That is what it says on some of the wingbowl flyers. uh. you think? it was pure raw debauchery. we got up at 530, by we i mean me, joe and lisa. t was going to have nothing to do with it. it's still totally dark and i'm going to pick up joe with a windshield full of ice. get him, get to lisa's. she doesn't answer her phone so it's back to highschool with throwing ice at the window. she comes down and we're off.
it's about 6 now. sun's not even peeking yet.
cut to broad st south of oregon. there are really no cars around, so we figure that the parking is going to be a cinch. well, there were no cars, because they were all in the lot already. we had to park nearly a quarter mile away.
we get to the stadium, guy at security puts his hand out, "you don't have anything to drink do you?" "no." "okay." no searching or anything. not that anyone would bring anything crazy in, but i've never seen so many flasks at an event in the history of ever. and i also haven't seen so many kids that looked 11 drinking out of flasks ever. so we're about 10 rows back from the glass. and i'm tellin you, the flyers will never be able to get that many people to come out to a game. the place was totally packed. and it was 99% choads. these guys were crazy with beads and eagles jerseys and mullets and bad half beards just chugging beer as fast as they can and waiting for the jumbotron to show some fine young lady make a mess of herself. it was great.
this is the place where strippers come after they get off work, or at least finish whatever they do after work. they are all the contestants wingettes, or cheerleaders. well there was one girl from some place that was the best. she kept rooting her guy on and giving him back rubs. the others were just all over looking for attention and molesting eachother.
finally at 8 the wing eating contest started. each guy gets 15 minutes to eat as many as they can. then there's a 5 minute break and another 15 minute eating extravaganza. the first half was pretty uneventful. good amount of wings eaten. best was 75 in the 15 minutes. second half things went downhill fast. 3 guys ended up losing their lunch/breakfast, and the winner was crowned. 203 wings in 30 minutes. amazing. he totally deserved the 7500 bones and the car. good going guys. might see you next year.
